STREET SHOOTING IN AMERICUS Americus, Ga., November 2?--(Special)--Much excitement was caused by a shooting scrape this afternoon on the streets, in which ?ome Jackson, colored shot Rance Harris, his brother-in-law, about the former's wife. Jackson fored three shots, one of which struck Harris in the thigh and another in the left lung just below the heart inflicting a dangerous and probably fatal wound. The shooting took place in a dense crowd and the shot that missed Harris came very near striking Mr. R.J. Perry, a prominent citizen. Jackson was locked up.
