The Schley County News  Thursday, February 14, 1895  No. 7 February 14, 1895
Will Murray, who killed Mr. Will Simms last August was hanged in Americus 
Friday at noon.  Only a few were allowed to witness the execution.  At the 
request of the condemned man his picture was taken just before he stepped upon 
the gallows.
