Farm Sells For Twenty-Five Thousand

Americus – W.M. and R.T. Humber of Americus sold their fine farm of 250 acres
near this city to John T. Cobb, a prominent farmer of Oconee County, who will
come here within a brief time to reside upon the plantation.  The consideration
paid by Mr. Cobb is said to have been twenty-five thousand dollars.
