Lawrence J. Blalock Dies Recently

Americus - Lawrence J. Blalock, the oldest practitioner at the bar in Sumter
County and one of the best and most highly regarded citizens of Americus, died
at his home here.  Although he had been seriously ill during several weeks, Mr.
Blalock’s death came as a shock to hundreds of friends.
