Death of Mose H. McGarrah

Mr. Mose H. McGarrah died at his home in this county, fourteen miles from 
Americus on Friday afternoon last, after a lingering illness.  He was buried 
Saturday afternoon at the family burial ground near his residence.  He leaves a 
wife and several children, besides a large circle of relatives and 
acquaintances to mourn his death.  He was a Christian gentleman, generous to a 
fault, and will be sadly missed in his neighborhood.  He was in his fifty-
second year of age. – Americus Recorder
