The tragedy occurred in the store of the Leslie Hardware Company, and was witnessed by several citizens. From meager reports received here today of the homicide, it appears that Mr. Laramore, a Lee County farmer, residing near Leslie, was more or less under the influence of drink, and had been the greater part of the day. He and Allison had a slight difficulty earlier in the day, and this, quite likely, was renewed when the men met last night in the store of the Leslie Hardware Company.
