JUDGE SEABORN MONTGOMERY

DEATH OF ONE OF THE MOST PROMINENT CITIZENS OF AMERICUS
Americus, Ga., June 17--(Special)--Judge Seaborn Montgomery, aged 88 years, 
and for a half century one of the most promising citizens of Americus, died 
this afternoon, after an illness of many months.  The deceased was widely 
known in southwestern Georgia, and esteemed in the highest degree for his 
sterling qualities.  He was prominent as a Mason and at one time was a citizen 
of great wealth and influence.

Seaborn Montgomery is buried at Ellaville Cemetery (9-28-1816 to 6-17-1903) 
along with wife Julia Womack and son Seaborn Montgomery Jr. More on Seaborn 
Montgomery and his Julia Womack Montomery can be found in the will of Miss 
Hattie C. Tondee.
