Sims, Bertha Lee Stewart
of Route 3, Americus, GA, was born February 21, 1928, died at Emory University 
Hospital in Atlanta, GA. May 22, 1986.  Funeral and burial held at Bethlehem 
Baptist Church cemetery; Reverend Jack Johnson officiated.  She is survived by 
six daughters; Ms. Jurilene Sims, Ms. Jessie M Sims, Ms Margaret Harvey, Ms 
Imogene Harris, all of Americus, GA, Ms Annie R Biggins of DeSoto, GA, and Ms 
Mandy Cratic of miami, FL; 6 sons, Arthur Sims, Robert Sims, Ervin Sims, 
Jerome Sims, Wilbert Sims, all of Americus and Leonard Sims of DeSoto, her 
mother, Mrs. Mary Emma Stewart of Americus; 4 sisters, Ms Agnes Angry, Ms 
Annie L Thomas, Ms Mary Gladys Sims, all of Americus and Ms Martha Edwards of 
Smithville, GA; 6 brothers, Tommy Stewart, Lynwood Stewart and Paul 
Sheffield , all of Americus, GA, Sammie Stewart, George Stewart and S T 
Sheffield, all of Miami, FL; 15 grandchildren.  Barnum Funeral Home.
