Sims, Mamie Solomon
Barnum Funeral Home; Mrs. Sims, 90,  of 315 Ashby Street, Americus, GA died 
Sunday October 2, 1988 in Americus, GA.  Funeral services will be held at 12 
noon Saturday at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Plains, GA, Reverend J. W. Lundy 
officiating.  Burial in the church cemetery.  She was born in Sumter County, 
GA on October 01, 1898, daughter of Willis and Fanny Edwards Solomon.  She was 
the widow of the late Wash Sims.
Survivors include 3 sons, Wallace Sims, James Sims and McArthur Sims of 
Americus, GA; 16 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-
grandchildren.
