Obituary, Americus, GA Dec 1997
SINGLETON, LOUIS
Mr. Singleton, of 1418 North Jackson Street, Americus, GA, was born August 19, 
1948 to Lewis and Lula Dismuke Singleton in Sumter County, GA. He died 
December 1, 1997.   Funeral services were held Friday, December 5, 1997 from 
the Mt Olive Baptist Church, Americus, GA.  Reverend H C Wilson officiated.  
Burial in the Andersonville National Cemetery. Survivors include his parents, 
his wife, Thelma, 3 sisters: Ms. Willie Mae (Willie) Hodge, Ms Katherine 
Singleton, and Mary (Joseph) Hampton Jr., 7 aunts, 5 uncles, 7 step-children, 
nieces, nephews and cousins.
