Terry, Clinton Sr.
of Route 1, Smithville, GA died December 10, 1980 at Sumter Regional Hospital 
in Americus, GA.  Mr. Terry was born November 1, 1905, son of Thomas William 
and Ola Mae Terry.  Funeral from New Shady Grove Baptist Church in Leslie, GA; 
Reverend D C Champion officiated; buried in New Corinth Cemetery.  Survived by 
wife, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Terry, Smithville; 4 daughters, Mrs. Betty Jean Bowers 
and Mrs. Willie Mae Waters of Americus, GA, Mrs. Evelyn Lester of Atlanta, Ms 
Annie Bell Terry of Smithville; 6 sons, Curtis Davis, Robert Terry and Johnnie 
Clyde Terry of Smithville, Clinton Terry, Jr. and Howard Terry of Americus, 
Willit T Terry of DeSoto and his mother, Mrs. Ola Mae Terry of Smithville.  5 
sisters, Mrs. Izola West of Smithville, Ms Bessie Hunter of Washington, DC, Ms 
Mae Vesta Trice of Newark, NJ, Ms Annie Lloyd of Philadelphia, PA, and Ms 
Rosie Lee Hobe of Montezuma and a brother, L C Robinson of New York, NY; 13 
grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.  Barnum Funeral Home.
