Terry, Bessie Kennebrew 
was born March 25, 1911 in Taylor County, GA of Mr. Johnnie Kennebrew and Emma 
Turner Beech.  She died June 6, 1997 at the Sumter Regional Hospital in 
Americus, GA.  Widow of Havolia Terry and member of the Jerusalem Baptist 
Church and usher board.  Funeral was held at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Mask 
Road, Americus, GA; Burial in Hopewell Cemetery, Brooks road, Macon County, 
GA.  Survived by 6 grandchildren: Eddie Lee Walters and Debra Bell (Morris) 
all of Detroit, MI, Havolia walters, Sekithia Sharpest (Michael), Christine 
Walters and Darrell Walters, all of Americus; brothers, Robert and Mamie 
Aldridge and Emmitte and Agness Swann, all of Ellaville, GA ; 15 great 
grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.  Family at home of Christine 
Walters, 237 Horton Drive, Americus, Meadows Oglethorpe Funeral Home.
