This upright marker has a mason symbol at the top. Columbus Washington is written in a curve, with the name HAND centered below it, followed by May 7, 1823, Died Jan 2, 1881. The bottom third of the stone is covered in faded writing that appears to have been a bible verse. The grave of Columbus Washington Hand is located next to the slab-style grave of his father Henry Harrison Hand.
