Wood Americus, Ga., November 29 – A marriage of wide interest throughout Georgia was solemnized Thursday afternoon when Miss Lucille Tomlinson became the bride of L.E. Wood. The marriage was performed by Rev. John M. Cutler, pastor of First Methodist Church, at the home of Mrs. W.T. McMath, a sister of the bride. Only immediate relatives and a few friends attended the wedding. Miss Tomlinson who had been secretary for Senator Stephen Pace during a number of years and is extremely popular here, served during the last session of the Georgia General Assembly as secretary to the Speaker of the House, Cecil Neill, and announcement of her wedding will come as a surprise to many friends in Atlanta and throughout the state. Mr. and Mrs. Wood, following their marriage, left for a visit to friends in Montgomery, Ala., and on their return will make their home at Abbeville, Ga.
