Blanton Family Cemetery Inscriptions, Talbot County, Georgia There are several discrepancies in the Blanton Family Cemetery listing in the Talbot County Web page. I have visited the Blanton Cemetery and submit the following information. Blanton Plantation Cemetery circa 1830 Talbot County, Georgia Take Hwy 80, two miles east of Talbotton, Georgia, turn left on paved road adjacent to old grass airfield, go one mile and you come to a “T” intersection. This is the location of the Foster Plantation, circa 1830. Nothing remains, but a few pecan trees. Turn left on dirt road and go about 300 yards and turn right. Go about one mile and the Blanton Plantation House and Cemetery are on the right. Benjamin G.
