C.- b.1811; and Mary - b. 1818, who married an ADAMS. Three of these children (daughters) were mentioned but not named in James Sr's will. I beleive one to be an Ann BRADBERRY - b. 1814 and another to be a Martha BRADBERRY - b.?, who married William W. CHAPMAN. The last daughter remains unidentified. Two children of James and Elizabeth BRADBERRY married ADAMS spouses. James BRADBERRY Jr. married Susan ADAMS on 2-14-1833 in Talbot Co. and later migrated to Randolph Co. GA, and his sister, Mary BRADBERRY, married Charles B. ADAMS on 09-10-1840 Talbot Co. GA. NOTES: ADAMS lineage come from some pages that I copied out of a book called, "A Rockaway in Talbot (Travels in an Old Georgia County", by William H. Davidson", specifically the chapters called, "John ADAMS Plantation" and "ADAMS Trail". According to the book, here's how it goes (in a nutshell): Three ADAMS brothers married three RUDD sisters who were born in Mecklinburg Co. VA (all daughters of Fields RUDD, born in Henrico Co, VA 1745 and died Newberry Dist, SC in 1803). The brothers, who all settled in Talbot Co. GA, were the sons of George ADAMS, who married Sarah PROCTOR. Sarah PROCTOR was the daughter of Samuel and Catherine PROCTOR who arrived in SC from Belfast Ireland on the brigantine, "Chichester" on Jan. 5, 1768. they lived and died in Newberry Dist. SC. (A fourth brother, John, is mentioned below) the 3 Talbot Co. brothers were: Robert ADAMS (d. 1852 aged 78), m. (in SC) Margaret F. Note: This book was hard to follow. In an effort to write the lineage in prose, the author tends to lose you. I also found a few conflicting errors in dates and did not record all of the marriage and birth dates here. I highly recommend that you or anyone interested in this line to read this book for yourself for the details. I may have gotten a few wrong. ======================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be freely used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
