67 - Chambless Cemetery - From Talbotton, GA go west on Hwy 208 for 4.3
miles, turn left on Hwy 315 and go 1.5 miles to cemetery on left of hwy.

Uncle of Jeptha Chambless

Jeptha that is buried in the Chambless Cemetery.  He is the father of
Christopher C. Chambless, Susan Mary Young, and Lovincy Roquemore that came
to Panola County, Texas.  There are other Chambless's buried there including
Jeptha's uncle, Zachariah.

Jeptha Chambless, son of Christopher Chambless and Mary Taylor, born
3-12-1798 and died 1-14-1846.  Married Susan Jones on 3-3-1819 in Talbot
Co.,
GA.  After the death of Jeptha, Susan and part of her children moved to
DeSota County, Mississippi where she died August 4, 1862.  She is buried in
Oak Grove Cemetery in Hernando, DeSota Co., Mississippi.

Jeptha C. that married Sarah Ann Edwards was Jeptha's son.  He was born
7-8-1823 and died 2-23-1877 in Stewart Co., GA.
