A large portion of this church withdrew and united with the Anti- Missionaries in 1839, but it was in existence until the early 1900's. The building was torn down or burned years ago." " In the cemetery we found markers of early settlers of Pleasant Hill community , Hancocks,Fergusons,Patricks,Robertson,Evans, and others. Many graves are unmarked. The grave of Nathaniel H. Isom (1849-1879) is covered by a shelter. One of the earliest burials is probably that of Samuel Winfret, "who died January 18,1836, in the 47th year of his age."
