Petition and Application for appointment of Administrator #85 Wm Hall Filed in office March 1st 1884 Richard H. Leonard Ordinary Recorded Page 236 Georgia Talbot County} To R. H. Leonard, Ordinary of said county: The petition of Jno. W. Hall a citizen of said state and county shows that William Hall, late of said county, deceased, departed this life on or about the 10th day of January 1884, and, as he believes, intestate, leaving property, real and personal, lying in said county, of the probable value of one thousand dollars, and that said estate should be administered upon, for the purpose of collecting and paying the debts due to, and owing by, the said estate, and for the purpose of making distribution thereof among the heirs of said deceased. Wherefore, petitioner prays an order directing citation to issue and be published in terms of the law, and that if no good cause be shown to the contrary, the administration of the estate of said deceased be vested in the County Administration. Est of William Hall Appraisement Filed in office May 26, 1884 Richard H. Leonard, Ordinary Recorded page 139 Inventory and appraisement of the estate of William Hall late of Talbot County and state of Georgia. We the undersigned, duly appointed as appraisers, find 60 acres of Land more or less on South-West corner of Lot No. 12 in 23rd Dist-of Talbot Co. Also 5 acres in the South-West corner of Lot No. 11, in 23rd Dist-Talbot Co. The above Lands are appraised by us to be worth $400.00 Four Hundred Dollars. The above and foregoing contains a true statement of all the property of William Hall late of said county, which I as Administrater have been able to find or control, and that has come to my knowledge. N. P. Carreker Subscribed and sworn to as a true Inventory of N. P. Carreker Administrator on the 26th day of May 1884. Richard H. Hall Filed in office November 11th 1885 Richard H. Leonard, Ordinary Recorded page 302 Georgia, Talbot County: To the Honorable R. H. Leonard, Ordinary of said county: The pepition of N. P. Carreker Administrator of the Estate of Wm Hall deceased, shows that deceased owned at the time of his death, a tract of land lying in said county, the same being Sixty acres, more or less, in the South West Corner of Lot No. 12 in the 23 Dist, and Five acres more or less in the South West corner of Lot No. 11, and that for the purpose of paying the debts and making distribution it is necessary to sell the lands of said deceased. Wherefore petitioner prays an order directing citation to issue, and be published in terms of the law, and that, if not good cause be shown to the contrary, your petitioner be granted leave to sell said land.
