Campbell of the County of Macon and State of Georgia of the one part and Amos Adams of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that the said Walter L. Campbell for and in consideration of the sum of ? Hundred Dollars to him in hand paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereto acknowledged hath bargained and sold unto the said Amos Adams all that lot or parcel ---- situated lying and being in the Fourteenth District of originally Muscogee now Talbot County known in the plan of survey of said district by Number One Hundred and Eighty Nine containing Two Hundred and Two and a Half acres more or less. To have and to hold this tract or parcel of land together with all and singular the rights members and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining thereunto his own proper use, behoof in fee simple unto the said Walter S. for himself, his heirs, executors and administrators unto the said Amos Adams, his heirs and assigns doth warrant and forever defend the right and title thereof against the just claims of all persons whatever. In testimony whereof the said Walter L. Campbell hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and date first above written. Campbell signed and delivered the within deed for the purposes therein mentioned that the deponent subscribed the same as a witness and said James Night did so likewise.
