Talbot County }  This Indenture made This the seventeenth day of August 
Eighteen hundred forty four between William Williamson of the one part and 
Calvin J. Branan of the other part both of the same County and State above 
written. Witnesseth that the said William Williamson for & in consideration of 
the sum of Two hundred dollars to him in hand paid at & before the sealing & 
delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath 
granted bargained & sold and do by these presents grant bargain sell & convey 
unto the said Calvin J.  his heirs & assigns all that tract or parcel of land 
it being the north east corner of lot No. (184) one hundred & Eighty four in 
the 17th district of Talbot County containing fifty acres more or less unto him 
the said Calvin J. his heirs executors &c the said bargained premises Together 
with all & singular the rights members & appurtenances Thereto belonging the 
same in any manner, and the said William Williamson will forever warrant & 
defend the right & title Thereof against himself and against the claim or 
claims of all & every other person or persons whatever lawfully claiming the 
same
In witness whereof the said William Williamson hath hereunto set his hand & 
affixed his seal the day & date above written
