To the home of Mr. and Mrs. W.K. Kimbrough were bidden: Drs. J.B. and W.C. Douglass, Messrs. J.B. Jr. and Paul Douglass. Miss Elizabeth Ragland enjoying a spend-the-day in the home of Mr. and Mrs. T.A. Kimbrough and was accompanied by Lynda Bryan. Mrs. S. Barnes was happy in the home-coming of her seven daughters. For a whole week there was general rejoicing and feasting in the difference homes around Junction City. The C.W. Moores, the Blythes, the Kellars, the Greens all vied with each other in entertaining royally. At each festal board covers were laid for forty-five and the Atlanta Williamsons, Alabama Barnes and McKenzies were the pivotal point around which revolved all the social commingling. A picture was made of Mrs. Barnes and her charming daughters. In contemplating this family circle, one feels constrained to waft to Mrs. Barnes this beautiful message in the language of another: “May the league of relations assembled in your blessed home enjoy without reservation every good and perfect gift.” ======================== USGENWEB NOTICE: In keeping with our policy of providing free information on the Internet, data may be freely used by non-commercial entities, as long as this message remains on all copied material.
