Talbotton 11; Butler 5

That is the story of Monday’s baseball game with Butler.

Ray Burt did the twirling for Talbotton, and I guess he is some twirler. 
Rutland did the receiving stunt for our boys.  The pitching and catching of 
these two players were the main features of the game.  They also did some 
remarkable hitting.

W. Childs, pitcher and A. Childs, catcher were the batteries for Butler.

Those who went from Talbotton to take part in the game were Burt, p; Rutland, 
c; Arrington, lo; W. Beall, 2b; B. Hall, ss; Cumby, 3 b; J. Kimbrough, rf; 
W.L. Perryman, cf; C. Simpson, lf; D.W. Spain and Carter Kimbro, substitutes.
