Kimbrough has been quite sick for the past week. Mr. C.W. Kimbrough has discontinued his ice business. Ice is now sold by Mr. W.C. Thomas. The Farmers Warehouse was on Tuesday leased to C.W. Kimbrough for a period of five years. The directors were well pleased with the contract as it will net the stockholders about ten percent on the money invested. He caught his foot under a plank in front of Thornton’s store, and as the consequence of a hard fall, received an ugly gash on his forehead. The Talbotton New Era Thursday, November 5, 1908 Page Two Personal Items While at work in the store of The Farmers Supply Company last Saturday afternoon, Mr. W.K. Kimbrough received a very painful fall. He was on one of the counter ladders doing some work on the top shelves. The ladder slipped from under him and he fell to the floor, spraining his ankle and injuring his back. While the injuries are not serious they are very painful and Mr. Kimbrough is still confined to his room. It will be several days before he is able to be at his post again.
