Games were played and sweet music dispensed adding to the enjoyment of the occasion. In a little contest called “Telegraph” Miss Annie Douglass and Mr. Russell Leonard won the prize. Refreshments consisting of ice cream and cake were served. Those present were Miss Lizzie May Cumby, with Mr. George Simpson, Miss Birdie May Dunbar with Mr. Henry McGehee, Miss Emily Baldwin with Mr. Russell Leonard, Miss Annie Douglass with Mr. Walter Louis Perryman, Miss Lucile McDaniel with Mr. Ross Grant, members of the graduating class. Others present were Miss Bessie Epting with Mr. Harry Hall, Miss Mary Ethel Calhoun with Mr. Clyde Simpson, Miss Jennie Belle Robertson with Mr. J.E. Bartlett, Miss Maud Jordan with Mr. John Smith, Prof. and Mrs. Harry Brooks, Miss Ida Will Brooks and Mrs. Underwood. Assisting Mrs. Simpson in entertaining were Misses Hattie Simpson and Samantha Grace.
