The people of Talbotton are fortunate in securing such an accomplished teacher as Professor Brooks. Talbotton has long been famous for its educational institutions, and has sent out scholars all over the country who have reflected great credit on the training, which they received in the school of that place. Among them is our townsman Mr. Hugh P. Quin. There is also the lamented Chancellor Walter B. Hill of the University of Georgia, received the principle part of his education. Hon. Oscar S.
