He goes as an alternate from the Fourth Congressional District. The Talbotton New Era Thursday, June 30, 1904 Page Six Personal Items Alf Douglass has returned from Chicago where he attended the Republican Convention. He says that when speaker Joe Cannon arose to address the assembly, it was hard from him to realize that it was not Uncle Tom Lumsden.
