The Dead Come To Life

Mr. Guy Philpot, who left Talbotton about 24 years ago and had never been heard 
of since, returned here last Monday.  He had been mourned as dead for the last 
15 years.  His grandmother had died several years ago and left considerable 
property in Taylor County of which he was the sole heir and every effort had 
been made to find him without success.  Since leaving home he has been 
practically all over the known world and has at the same time accumulated a 
small fortune.  He came to Talbotton direct from Chicago.  He is well 
remembered by most of the people of Talbotton. – Talbotton New Era
