The Macon Telegraph P 3 May 3, 1898
Talbotton, May 2-The May adjourned term of Talbot superior court convened today, 
Judge W. R. Butt presiding. The case of the state against W. S. Brown for the 
killing of J. H. Miller was continued on account of illness of one of defendant's 
counsel.
Visiting lawyers are J H Worrill, C J Thornton, Solicitor-General Price Gilbert of 
Columbus.  After a most creditable examination, Mr. R N R Bardwell and Mr. Thomas B

King of Talbotton were admitted to the bar.  Court adjourned to regular September 
term.
