Mr. Adams had gone about his usual morning chores, and dropped dead with some pieces of wood in his hand, which he had brought in for the morning fire. The cause of his death is unknown. He had been in his usual health up until the very moment of his death. His remains were interred at Mt. Zion church Sunday, Rev. Graham Forrester and Rev. J. W. Smith of Columbus officiating. Mr. Adams leaves four boys and a wife. He has several brothers in this and adjoining counties. Florrie Adams, Montezuma, J.J. Adams, Holton, J.A. Adams, Thomaston, and N.C. Hall of Columbus were among those who attended the funeral from a distance.
