Barnes Mr. W.H. Barnes, one of the oldest and most respected citizens of Talbot County, died at his home near Paschal on Monday last after a short illness. Mr. Barnes was eighty-two years of age. He was a man who had the confidence and respect of all who knew him. He was a noble christian gentleman. The funeral took place Tuesday morning at ten o'clock at the Heath cemetery. The funeral services were conducted by Olive Masonic Lodge of Talbotton, a special train carrying them to the graveyard. Mr. Barnes is survived by his wife, Mrs. W.H. Barnes and several children, Mrs. C.W. Moore, Mrs. Williams of Montgomery, Mrs. Annie Moore and Miss Ella Mae Barnes of Talbotton.
