She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Callier and was born at Chattanooga, Tenn. and died at the home of her aunt, Mrs. W.G. Freeman on Feb. 2nd. She had been ill since Jan. 8th with pneumonia and all that skill and love could do was done but in vain. During her brief life of twenty two months she had endeared herself to all by her winsome baby love and sweetness. But to the bereaved parents, sisters and other loved ones there will come that happy thought that the dearly loved baby is standing beyond the gleaming gold of the sunset waiting to welcome them home. And while they miss the sweet little daughter’s baby face and gentle voice they can but feel that Angel voices welcomed her across the golden sand, Into a home of eternal rest, a home in the Better Land. Her baby spirit pure and free, hath drifted safely home, At the gentle call of the Father’s voice, that whispered sweetly, Come! She is waiting there with the angel hand, from pain and sorrow free, Waiting to welcome her loved ones home, when they cross the silver sea. May E.
