Negro Accidentally Killed

Talbotton, Ga., Dec. 26 – Lip Carter accidentally killed his half brother, 
Louis Drane, across Flint river in Upson County.  Both parties were Negroes.  
They were returning from Thomaston, where Lip had purchased a new gun and was 
showing it to Louis, when it accidentally discharged, killing Louis instantly.
