Franklin Eugene Daniel, Sr.
Oct. 20, 1936 - Sept. 6, 2001


Box Springs:  Franklin Eugene Daniel, Sr., 64, of Box
Springs, died Sept. 6 at his residence.  Funeral services
were held Sept. 8 at Geneva Baptist Church with Rev. Lynn
McManious officiating, assisted by Rev. Jack Fryer.
Burial followed at Cox Family Cemetery with Junior
Daniel, Arthur Pearson, Benny Elliott, John Adams, Henry
Daniel, and Leon Fryer serving as pallbearers.


Mr. Daniel was born Oct. 20, 1936 in Talbot county, son
of the late Allen Brooks Daniel, Jr. and the late Sally
Elizabeth Posey Daniel.  He worked as a meat inspector
with U.S.D.A. and was a Baptist.


Survivors include his wife Donna Bowen Daniel of Box
Springs; one son Franklin E. Daniel, Jr. of Hiawassee;
three daughters Freida Horde of Mansfield, Angela Boyett
of Covington and Regina Worth of Douglas; one sister
Liela Holloway of Pine Mountain Valley; 11 grandchildren;
one great-grandchild.  Talbotton Funeral Home of
Talbotton was in charge of arrangements.
