Freeman Dead Mr. L.P. Freeman who has been an invalid for several years passed peacefully away at his home on College street Monday afternoon about 5 o’clock. Mr. Freeman had suffered intense agonies over since he had been an invalid, suffering with something like locomotor ataxia. But in spite of all his suffering he took a keen interest to his business affairs as well as the current affairs of the world. The word Give Up was not in his vocabulary. His life had been one of useful toil. He had accumulated a nice little fortune by his own efforts. Laziness was another attribute unknown to Mr. Freeman. His life of useful industry might well be emulated by every young man. He leaves two children, Mr. Walter B. Freeman and Mrs. George G. Ware of Leesburg, Fla., his wife and several brothers and sisters. At the time of his death Mr. Freeman was president of Spivey Freeman Co., one of the largest businesses in Talbotton.
