Fielder "Beautiful hands of a little one see. Baby voice calling, O mother for thee, Rosy cheek darling, the light of the home, Taken so early, is beckoning come." William P. Fielder, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. J. T. Fielder, of Forest, was born 26th of February, 1901, and was nurtured with tender and loving care, with fond hopes of coming joy when future developments would bring so much sunshine and happiness into their hearts and home. But the little darling soon began to wane under the hand of affliction, and on the 15th of March its sufferings ended and its pure spirit borne by angels was carried to its Heavenly home. May the dear association with their little darling, though so brief, leave their hearts more tender and with deeper longings for the home above. A Friend Published in the Meriwether Vindicator, April 12, 1901 Note: This was the only child of Joseph T. Fielder and Jennie Lind McLaughlin Fielder. The baby was named after his grandfather, William Pinkney Fielder.
