She leaves two sons, Mr. John and Ezekiel Harris and a daughter Mrs. Jessie Smith all of Birmingham, four grandchildren. The remains were accompanied to Shiloh by her children, a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Adell Harris of Midland and a step-sister Mrs. Lucy Norwood of Columbus. The deceased was a devoted member of the Methodist church was loved by all who knew her especially her children devoted to her, her mother love being something Saintly. The shadow of death can never darken the memory of her many virtues nor perish the fond hope of being reunited beyond the grave, for we are sure she has entered the pearly gates, as her walk her on earth was close to her Savior, and in Heaven her Christian character will ripen to perfection under genial skies and some day will meet us with that same sweet smile and warm handclasp so fondly remembered. Mr. John Harris and Mrs. Jessie Smith of Birmingham are her on the sad mission of the burial of their mother.
