Simpson, of Paschal, who was in town Tuesday we learned of the death of an old negro woman, old aunt Tracy Hill, which occurred in the upper part of the county one day last week. The old woman lived in Talbot County, but wandered away from the house where she had been staying into this county where she was found dead on the roadside and it is the opinion of our informant that she died from old age, as she was over one hundred years old. She had frequently informed Mr. Simpson that she distinctly remembered when General George Washington visited Augusta, that she was then a house girl and she had the honor of washing Lady Washington’s feet.
