No reason is assigned for the suicidal act and it is supposed that it was caused by intense grief on account of the death of his wife. Quite a number of children are left fatherless by this rash act and who were already deprived of a mother’s love and care. The double interment took place yesterday at the old Ligon cemetery near Geneva.
