Mrs. Luester Mitchell
Dec. 7, 1912 - Nov. 28, 2000


Junction City - Mrs. Luester Mitchell, 89, died Nov. 28
at The Medical Center in Columbus.  Funeral services were
conducted Dec. 2 at First Baptist Church in Junction City
with interment at The Rock C.M.E. Church Cemetery.


Mrs. Mitchell was born to the late Ben and Sarah Jones.
She graduated 8th grade in Talbotton.  Survivors include
three daughters, Phyllis Paniauga of Roberta, Elaine
(Tommy) Phillips of Atlanta, and Biece (Robert) Alsobrook
of Butler; one son, Lester Mitchell of New York City; 16
grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren, several nieces and
nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.  She
was predeceased by her husband, Noble Mitchell, two
sisters, Corina Parham and Ruth Grant, and one brother,
Adam Jones.


McDougald Funeral Home of Butler was in charge of
arrangements.
