Wind, nee Miss Resa Bethune was dead and the death is especially sad because of her having a little baby boy just one week old. Mrs. Wind was married last year to Mr. Phil Wind of Talbotton and they went to Birmingham where Mr. Wind had a position in a hardware store. Mrs. Wind was at her mother’s in Buena Vista at the time of her death. It was known that she was dangerously sick but friends and relatives couldn’t see how they could give her up to die. Everything that loving hands and skilled physicians could do was done but to no avail and the sweet spirit passed to eternity just as life’s prospects were brightest and the joys of the happy couple were at their highest over the presence of a baby boy. Mrs. Wind was beautiful in face and figure and character and was loved by all who knew her. She was a devoted young Christian and her loss has made sad the hearts of many friends who join her disconsolate husband, mother and sisters in mourning the loss of this beautiful young life. Mrs. Robert Wind of Talbotton brought the little motherless baby here where every possible attention will be given it.
