Died in Roberta

Mrs. Tom Holman who once lived in Talbotton and daughter-in-law of Mr. W.P. 
Holman of this place, died at her home at Roberta, Ga., Friday and was buried 
at Midway Church, Taylor County Saturday.  Mrs. Holman was a Miss Gualtney and 
was born and reared near Ficklin’s Mill, Taylor County.  She left five children 
and a devoted husband to mourn her death.  She was a faithful member of the 
Baptist Church and was prepared when the summons came.  The news of her death 
came too late for Talbotton relatives to attend the funeral.  A large number of 
Talbotton friends sympathize with the mourning family.
