Mr. Adams was in good health and was very active for a man of his years when death seized him without a second’s warning. He was weighing some cottonseed that he had bought and suddenly dropped in his tracks. Before assistance could reach him he had expired. Mr. Adams was very active to the last and was 73 years old. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. His wife has been dead several years and he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. W.H. Barnes and Mrs. Cross of Paschal. Mr. Adams was very popular with all who knew him and a large number of friends mourn his loss with the bereaved family. His remains were interred Tuesday at the old Adams family burying ground.
