Biggs, died Nov. 28, 1903, after six weeks illness. She was seventeen years, one month and four days old and was greatly beloved by the family and a host of friends and all of her many school mates. She joined the Methodist church early, and gave evidence of developing into a perfect Christian character. She was a devoted schoolmate and pupil, and always obedient to her teacher, and her seat in school will be vacant hereafter. It is sad to see such a lovely flower so young and sweet plucked from the earth to heaven by the rude hand of death, but God doeth all things well. The funeral was conducted by Rev. John Harris, who beautifully testified to her predominating trait of character as being charitable and lovable to all whom she knew. A large concourse of people, with many friends and relatives, from a distance, came to bear testimony of their love for the deceased and their sympathy for the bereaved. They laid her to rest in the cemetery of Mt. Zion Church to await the resurrection morning.
