Death of W.C. Porter

It will be sad news to the many friends of W.C. Porter to learn of his death at 
St. Petersburg, Fla., 15th.

Mr. Porter spent the greater portion of his life in this county and was one of 
Talbot’s most useful and honored citizens.  Especially sad is his death to the 
people of Pleasant Hill community where he lived for a number of years.  In him 
they realized a true friend, a kind neighbor and a model Christian.

While we mourn his death, we have every assurance from his daily walk in life 
that he has gone to reap the reward of the Just.
