She had not been ill, and her death came as a great shock to her relatives. Immediately after she was taken ill, a physician was summoned but she died before he could reach her. The doctor stated that her death was due to congestion of the lungs. Mrs. VanWycke was the mother of Mrs. Johnson and was in Talbotton visiting her at the time of her death. The remains were carried to Atlanta on the early train Saturday morning. Mrs. Johnson had a little baby about a week old, and the death of her mother was a terrible shock.
