Death of Miss Pearl Jones

On Monday last, the community at Prattsburg was saddened by the death of Miss 
Pearl Jones, the sixteen-year-old daughter of Mr. A.B. Jones.  She had been 
sick for several months and her death was not unexpected.

The funeral services took place at 3 o’clock on Tuesday afternoon at 
Prattsburg, the ceremonies being conducted by Rev. J.G. Harrison, of 
Talbotton.  The funeral was largely attended, a testimonial of the high esteem 
in which this young lady was held.

Mr. Jones and family have the sympathy of their many friends all over the 
county in their great sorrow.
