Killed By Lightning

During a severe electrical storm on yesterday afternoon, Sallie Drane, a Negro 
woman living near Mr. R. Leonard’s was instantly killed by lightning.  The 
house of Mr. W.T. Allen was struck and slightly damaged.  An oak tree in the 
yard of Mr. L.W. Smith was struck.
