Rites Held For
Mr. B. H. Morgan
  Mr. Ben Hill Morgan, 74, of Rt. 2, Barnesville Road, Thomaston, died 
Wednesday, January 24, at the Upson County Hospital.
  Mr. Morgan was a native of Talbot County and had made his home in Thomaston 
for over 40 years where he was a barber.  He was past worshipful Master of 
Griffin Masonic Lodge, a Mason in the Morning Star Lodge 27 and a member of 
the Royal Arch and Commandry.
  Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dolly C. Morgan of Thomaston, three 
sisters, Mrs. J. O. Bransford, Mrs. Clyde Milner of Thomaston and Mrs. W. F. 
Mitchell of Warner Robins; seven brothers, Sidney Morgan, Grady Morgan, 
Charlie Lee Morgan, all of Thomaston, John L. Morgan of Concord, Willie F. 
Morgan of Manchester and Edmond Morgan of Charleston, S. C.
  Funeral services were conducted Friday morning at 11:00 o'clock from The 
Rock Baptist Church in Upson County.  Rev. Paul Martin and Dr. R. D. Mohler 
officiated and burial was in Old Hebron cemetery in Concord.
  Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home of Thomaston was in charge of arrangements.
