Rev. L.W. Parrott Dead

Rev. L.W. Parrott, former pastor of the Baptist church died at his home at 
Spread, Ga. near Augusta the first of this week.  He lived in Talbotton for a 
number of years and has many friends all through this section.  He was at one 
time moderator of the Columbus Baptist Association and was an estimable 
gentleman as well as a strong preacher.
